Women's Studies isn't a bunch of large, unpleasant people who'll shout at you or can't 'get any'. These people who appreciate this science believe women are human beings who deserve the attention and study in this largely patriotic society.

Well, it is at least not merely a holdover for angry women. I'm an angry guy who's taken several women's studies classes. I'd say I'm more of a feminist than most of my female friends (and I'm sure they'd agree with me).

Intelligence has nothing to do with degree pursued. My IQ is somewhere around 150 (the IQ tests vary a bit to either side of that), which is surely ample intelligence to be an engineer. However, I don't enjoy engineering. I enjoy language, learning, and computers, which is why I'm pursuing a double major in linguistics and cognitive science. The world has enough engineers.

People choose to major in women's studies because they feel it is important to introduce people to the ever-so-radical notion that women are people.

Indeed, "women's studies" is a science. However, it is a very biased science. In other subjects and classes one usually hears both sides of a disputable topic. However, Women's Studies tend to be biased and partial toward liberal women. Rarely are the views of men or conservative women ever shared with the same devotion of time and respect. If these views are mentioned, they are mentioned as a side note, and presented as an opposition.

Even further, much of their scientific "facts" are confirmed by liberal men and feminist women. These facts are no more trustworthy than those presented by Republicans against Democrats or Democrats against Republicans. Their studies are often biased and performed with a political agenda.

Those who chose to take "Women's Studies" usually do so in mere interest of the subject. However, there are occupations that consider the subject beneficial. Such as Humane Services. Nonetheless, such a subject has no merrit in most occupations.

The problem with womens studies is that is less about the discovery of knowledge utilizing the scientific method and more about a political agenda. Activism is fine but don't confuse it with rigorous academic discipline.

Women's studies isn't just about women who are pissed off about how they are treated.

"The Program also offers a graduate minor. Women's Studies may be defined as the critical and scholarly pursuit of knowledge about women from feminist, interdisciplinary perspectives."

I would like to think that you are intelligent enough to proofread your sentence before posting it on the internet for the sole purpose of being offensive. You're not asking a question. You're being a jerk.
