I met this guy while we were both in a long (years) relationship. he didn't get along with his gf and i didn't get along with my bf. eventually we ended up cheating on them. (i know not the best thing and i know there is no excuse for it) well my relationship ended soon afterwards while his continued. we still kept seeing each other until he told me that he'd reather let his relationship ruin itself then because of me so we agreed that we should stop talking, which actually was ok ( for whatever reason) with me. well last nite he texts me telling me that everything is over cuz apparently he found out that she went to some guys house for lunch. now my question is....if he tries to get back with me should i wait a while until everything cools down or should we just get into it? i really really like him a lot!

Yeah just wait awhile until he gets all of his situations handled and his girlfriend isn't really involved anymore, then you can proceed with the relationship.

You sound like such a pathetic lil princess of a puppy it's incredible. Do you not see he's with another chick? And in likin the attached guy, you not only DIDNT give your 100% to your ex bf, you got yourself broken up and then, allowed this other guy to bang you while he CONTINUED being with his gf. Now, if he liked you half as much as you did him, wouldn't he have left his gf for you by now? Unless he's a real flowerboy, in which case, what the hell do you like him so much for? Ever watched the movie "Closer"? It's pretty much like your situation. Have a look.

Let me get this straight. You both cheated on your partners, then you dumped yours and he chose to keep his and stop talking to you. Now his relationship has ended (not because he wanted it to) he has the nerve to call you up and want to get together. This guy does not have the courage of his convictions. If he loved you he would have left his partner ages ago and not waited until she left him. I wouldn't wait, I would refuse to go out with him ever again.

Honestly, sounds like more lust than anything. I wouldn't jump the gun too soon, they just might get back together. Huh? She just went to a guy's house and he's been messing around all this time on her with you? What's the deal? Anyways..don't focus too much on this individual, doesn't seem to know what he wants. If not, he would be with you already.

Don't bother with this. You will both always have a trust issue with eachother since you both cheated with eachother. It is something you will always think about and wonder if he's doing it to you. Just don't waste your time. Be proactive not reactive.
