This may not have been the best site to get advice some people are really mean. I am not sure how bad your scars are. If they are bad then I don't think there is much you can do. If not too bad then maybe a tattoo. I am bi-polar and have tried to kill myself a few times usually with pills but I have a crazy tolerance so that is hard. I tried to slash my wrist a few times but have missed the vein every time THANK GOD!!! i haven't wanted to die in a few years and it's great. A life I always wondered what one was like now I know. I will pray for you too. But I have a tattoo that covers most of the scar it is really cool. One way it says life and if you look at it the other way it says death. Appropriate I thought. Well I hope you are ok now. Don't let thing get you down if nothing else sit on this stupid computer sad to say but this is what occupys my time alot when I feel down. There are alot of sites where people need help that helps me, to help others. Try it out might help you too. Especially kids like yourself, you know you've been there. Share your knowledge. Good luck with overcoming this, you can do it.

Most scars can be removed or greatly improved. Scars develop when the wound repair process is incomplete and collagen and elastin are improperly deposited. Most scar repair involves stimulating the skin's healing mechanism to reorganizes and rebuild the collagen and elastic tissue. The process often involves removing the damaged area and stimulating skin repair. Techniques include the use of chemical peels, lasers, and covering the scar with silicone sheets.

Or you could look into getting a really cool tattoo, over the scar, I hear that it is done.

Unfortunately, scars are very hard to get rid of. Time is the best solution, but they will never entirely fade. You could go to a drug store and search for scar serums. These formulas contain ingredients that can help to reduce the visibility of your scars.

As a temporary measure, bracelets and wrist cuffs, and also wrist and arm warmers can help to cover your scars, and take your mind off cutting for a bit.

Good luck on your road to recovery. It isn't easy, but I have been (and sometimes, still am) there, but it is possible to eventually slow and stop yourself! ^_^

Why would you?
The scars are only visualising what happened to your soul.
Leave them, its not the scars on your wrist to be concerned about.
They might help you at times and keep you from messing up.

use rosehip oil and honey apparently it works great. There is also womens stretch mark cream for pregnancy that works to some extent on scars... but scars never go away completely. It is something that is there for life.

Try some neosporne or something that helps them become less visable and then put makeup over it. ..

Good for you for trying to stop I had a friend who went through that and then got back on her feet, I'm sure you'll be able to too!:D

Try Mederma. You can get it over teh counter at places like Walmart. From what the commercials say, it's supposed to be good.

First...yes, I think you're stupid.

BUT...try getting gel Vitamin E tablets...cut them open and spread the inside good (the vitamin E) on your scars. It won't completely eliminate them, but they should fade some if you keep it up.

I've heard of it working for stretch marks during pregnancies anyway.
