Definitely go for Natural Instincts. It fades out naturally (after 24 washes or something like that), so there's no ugly roots to cover up. I've used it quite a lot, and it works really nicely (the colours are realistic, too).

I absolutely LOVE anything that FERIA does! Many color choices for permanent and semi permanent colors!

The best that I've used is Clairol's Natural Instincts, bc it seems to blend in with the color of your roots as they grow out...At least that's what happened to me

I've found duck saliva to be very effective, and quite cheap.
