That was my favorite show I used to stay home some Fridays to watch it.. :) Couldn't stay home all of them. Who was your favorite. Sonny or Tubbs?

Just turned 34 so I guess I'm pushing 40 but don't really want to hear it guess I shouldn't asked a dated question then hey???

I used to watch it all the time. I liked Sonny Crocket because he had a crocodile for a pet and lived on a boat. How cool is that?

I guess I was partial to Phillip Michael Thomas, who played Tubbs because I knew and worked with him when I lived in Los Angeles. He was not only a wonderful actor, but a great poet and speaker long before we had "Spoken Word". He was very gifted in the art of poetry and spoken word. I have not heard from him in a long time so I am not aware of what he is up to, but if I know anything about him - he is active and doing his thing. (Besides the fact he was soooooooooo fine!!!)

This was a good program. I prefered Tubbs.. I didnt like the Alligator in the program, I thought that was unrealistic

Neither. I saw the marathon on TVLand about a year ago, and it was heartbreaking to see Sonny get married only for his wife to die a few episodes later.

Yep, the series I lived for! I would watch it during the summer re-runs.
Own the first two seasons on DVD, and cannot wait to see the new movie.

I liked Sonny. Everyone always died at the end. I am glad that Michael Mann is directing it.
