Jesus was human, therefore imperfect as are all humans.

For something different, the "theological context" is like this:

Imagine the perfect relationship with someone else, where you are completely safe with each other, are not afraid, never flee or hide, never strike out at each other, are completely giving, never lie / are completely honest, can totally trust the other person, do not doubt, and so forth.

The idea of "the Trinity" describes this sort of community, where the three aspects of the Christian God (Father, Son, and Spirit) relate to each other in just this way. "Sin" is something that violates this level of relationship, puts a wall among the members of the community; the members of the Trinity do not sin against each other.

When Jesus manifest as a human being, what is meant by him "having no sin" is that despite being in limited human form, he still related to the Father and Spirit in this very way (as stated above).

He trusted, never turned away, never violated the relationship, the union remained as perfect as before. Human beings have moments where they lack faith, where they do not trust, where they seek to satisfy themselves first and foremost, where they act out of selfish interests... but Jesus did not do this. Even in moments of agony, uncertainty, temptation, and the like (which he experienced as a human being), he never turned from God.

I think this is what is meant when it's said that "Jesus did not sin."

Jesus was without sin. but "perfect" in the Bible has a difference meaning than the one we use. The word perfect means "being complete, lacking in nothing". So when you think about God wanting you to be perfect, think instead that He wants you to be "complete, lacking in nothing". This completeness is a spiritual one, not an earthly, material or behavioral completeness.

Of course jesus was not perfect. He is the encarnation of a god. When a god steps foot on grond and attempts to control physical opjects it experiences many obstacles and must attempt to refrain from being succumbed by the surroundings. The impurities are many within the embodiment . . . to endure living is in itself sublime.

In every way that you can measure perfection, he was perfect.
did he have acne?
who knows and who cares? It can not be argued successfully for either side.
The perfection spoken of was a perfection of spirit and sinlessness, not if he lost his balance as a toddler or had mistakes on a math test.
The Bible tells us that God emptied himself of his godhood and took upon himself the guise of man and was tempted in all facets as man, yet without sin.
What else matters on this subject?

I believe that He was perfect in that He never sinned. Did He ever knock over a glass of milk with his elbow when he was a little kid? Could be since He was human as well as divine.

Yes, I do believe He was perfect. His death would have meant nothing if He wasn't. The blood that was split to cover our sins had to be completely pure, from a body without sin. Had He not been perfect, His death would have meant nothing.

Yes, I do believe that Jesus was perfect while he was on earth. He commited no sins, he practiced what he preached, he was loving and kind to everyone, even those sinning.
