Why do people kill and hurt children? In the New Testament, Matthew 18 verses 1-10 deals with these people. I would not want to be handed over to God's judgement!

Cause some poeple are crack-heads, & watch to much crap, I dont know y, but the law is screwed up any ways

Oh, because the Bible says spare the rod and spoil the child(Proverbs 13:24).So most people take it to mean that they can beat the hell out of their child because that's what the Bible says to do.Never mind the fact that a 'rod' in Biblical times was a unit of measure equal to 16 .5 American feet!!The verse was talking about discipline,not beating your child.The actual verse translates to 'The parent who does not use a measure of discipline hates his child'.So it's a conflict of interest and beating your child is obviously the easier road to take.After all, who wants to take the more difficult path and actually be a (*gasp!*) PARENT?!Thank the Goddess I'm Wiccan!

Maybe because, according to the Old Testament, God hurt and killed children.

Because such people are sick. Nobody in their right mind would ever hurt an innocent child.

Becuase George W. Bush fulfills his arrogance by killing innocents , becuase as he said he saw christ and he ordered him to save the world of the biggest terrorists on earth who are childs(according to him)

The bible also says to stone to death any woman who has premarital sex. I don't think your god is as benevolent as you thought.
