If the literary content is good, I don't care if the spelling is perfect. You could have asked instead, why don't people 'think' before they answer? Even in school when one is being graded on a writing assignment, spelling is only 'part' of the grade. Content rates higher.

The spell checker doesn't always work; and I mean 1/2 of the time! I often put a mistake in to make sure it's working.

A lot of people use abbreviations etc. and spell check will stop on every little thing. What does it matter anyway ? It is what they have to say that is important!
