why should i walk if i will be struck by lightining. And i cant call my parents cause if forced myself to come. they told me not to cause of the rain. anyone live in berrien springs, michigan?

Take the bus? Take a cab. Get a friend to drive you. Call your parents. They would rather you get home safely than get hit by lightning. They'll enjoy the fact that they were right and you were wrong.

Sorry I live in Florida see lightning all the time and will walk outside in the middle of a storm..just doesn't bother me anymore.

get a really big piece of metal and a potted plant. rip out the plant and bury the bottom of the pole in the dirt. carry it home and any and all lightning will hit it and discharge into the dirt. lol. (that was sarcasm... don't actually try that... lightning is powerful enough to overcome any insulator...)

Just don't go in a valley with nothing around. The chances of you getting hit by lightening is like winning the lottery, IT MIGHT JUST HAPPEN ONCE IN YOUR LIFETIME. However, most people survive lightening strikes.
