The one I wanna buy costs 5,000, is it worth it?

NO. these are poorly designed crappy plastic low quality cars the ac system always brakes the rear brake calipers freeze up the engine management issues go on and on and the check engine lamp is always on for a different reason every week they are real crap to put a timing belt on the window regulators are always braking and in order to change out a headlamp bulb the whole lamp assembly has to come out via. a rube Goldberg latch that always binds up and breaks this seems to be the norm for all German cars nowadays . i hope they continue [my daughter is at university and these buckets of crap really pay the tuition.]

I think they are cute...I saw a Black Convertible last week with a Turbo...it was cool. Go to www.edmunds.com , go to their used car section and click on the 'vehicle appraiser' section. You can enter all the options, miles etc...and it will give you the actual selling prices in YOUR area for this exact type of car. They give trade value, private party and dealer prices. Edmunds is the best!

BTW...VW had some trouble with some models burning oil...ask about oil consumption on this particular car.
