I realize you already know quite a bit about Wisconsin, but if you prepare to think about geomorphology and Ice-Age glaciation it might become a whole new place. As the WSS says "The greatest variety of glacial landforms on the planet are found here in Wisconsin." Probably true. In any case you can't see evidence of continental glaciers in Colorado Have fun!

Wisconsin Dells. The Wisconsin River and freestanding rock formations are beautiful, plus the type of rock most of the formations are made of is only found one other place in the world. Devil's Lake in Baraboo, WI is an interesting place to visit for rocks and also Native American legends.

you da geology you tell me. if i wasted my money and time studyin' geology to end up in wisconsin (no offense) i should know wat kind would be there. damn i might as well study to be a lawyer or a doctor then ask someone on da street wat i'm to do
