No one 'turns' gay. You are gay, or you're not.

People don't "turn" gay. Being gay is not a matter of choice, but is determined by the individual's genetic makeup. With the way gays are persecuted, why would someone choose to be gay? It's not wrong; it's just the way society views gays that is wrong. A little education would go a long way. By the way, in case you're wondering, I'm straight, but have a couple of gay friends.

Hiya. I know in some peoples eyes, being gay is wrong. But believe me, if you stepped into a gay man or womans shoes, you would understand you can't change the way you feel. I'm assuming yr straight, so imagine if it was wrong for you to have relationships with straight people, and the done thing was to be with gay people. Do u think u could control the feelings u have for the opposite sex? Would you ignore them? Being gay is a hard lifestyle, there are so many judgemental people out there, but at the end of the day, we can't help the way we feel. I'm a gay male, and i have never fancied a woman in my life. I'm only attracted to men. Maybe it's all down to biology, how we've been brought up, or down to experiences we've had in the past. Who knows. But, we're all only human, and theres bigger things in life to worry about.

being gay is biological, yet at the sametime if you grow up in a situation where everyone you know is str8 and say bad things about gays, and tell you it's wrong to be gay, that can program you to seek out str8 relationships. at 27 I have realized that I am gay, I like men, have had gay thoughts for years yet, in the back of my mind there is still that programming from growing up and early stages of adulthood, and the same type of people making ignorant remarks about gay people, if you've grown up in a world that is str8 there is also a lot of pressure on you to be straight. from friends and family. being gay isnt wrong, but it's still not easy .

I dont' think people "turn" gay. I think they are born that way, and I don't think they have any choice in the matter. Hating or judging someone because they are gay is like hating or judging someone for having brown hair..... they didn't chose it; it's just part of them. God wants more love and acceptance in this world, not less. Learn to love all His children and not just the ones you think are exactly like you.

according to which authority? "the bible" written by guys with an agenda? the christian right, not a few of whom are closet cases? tolerance is a major virtue. bigotry is a popular vice. small mindedness abounds. get over the brainwashing, young lady, and think for yourself. don't be in the majority and just settle for being another sheep. p.s. i think it's been pretty well established that a person is born "that way".

Why do care so much about what other people are doing? What business is it of yours who anyone loves?
And it is a proven fact that homosexuals are born that way. It is no more a choice for them as it is for straight people.
Please do the world a huge favor and get educated!

It's just a natural and innate variation of human nature, and not a moral issue at all. Just get over it.

FFS, spell check!!

Sexual preference is neither right or wrong. It is what is is. If people can't deal with it, that's too bad for them, but that doesn't make them right.
