No. It is an anabolic steroid, which means a building steroid, therefore is abused long term.
Abuse of testosterone interferes with the body's natural feedback mechanism of pituitary hormones i.e. your body stops producing its own testosterone (95% of testosterone is produced by the testicles). Adding exogenous (outside) testosterone will build muscle, but will also accelerate male pattern balding, increase body hair, make you (more) sexually rampant, probably increase your aggression & long term, your testicles will shrink & destroy your fertility.
Effect on women - chest hair, acne, libido increase.
Race has an effect on SENSITIVITY to testosterone,actual levels are similar across races. Men of African descent have high sensitivity to it.

yes testosterone definitely have an impact on athletic ability. testosterone is like a natural steroid secreted in the human body. women have testosterone as well but at lower levels thus men are usually physically stronger than women. secretion level of testosterone vary from person to person. black people secrete more on average compared other races.

No, it doesn't. Adrenaline does, but adrenaline causes depression, and it will kill you in large quantities. Testosterone has a slow affect on athletic performance that is long lasting. Adrenaline also messes up sleeping habits, which in the long term screws over athletic performance.
