hey..
christine.. i won best dressed too in highschool though!!
i model and i'm majoring in fashion. i have an internship at Elle magazine. it's AWESOME!! it's like my dream job!
my sister's 13.. in 8th grade.. so i think i can help.
the style now is vintage prep. also, a little boho.
go to these stores...
-hollister, abercrombie, Forever 21, Charlotte- Russe, Urban Outfitters, Delias, and H&M. .. all these places have adorable .. middle school appropriate clothing.
try some of these outfits:::
- a loose fitting solid, brown or off-white shirt with a wide belt just above the bellybutton. [a brown leather wide belt.. but make sure you could tell it's girls and not mens.. hehe].. then, wear a pair of light denim bermuda shorts with MAYBE a small rip of two.. if not.. those are just as adorable.. my mom didn't let me wear rips til i was like 15 =/ idk why. Then, wear a pair of off white flats that match the shirt. i got adorable off- white ones from Nine West. Try there, DSW, Belle USA.. those places for shoes.
- then, try a sweater from hollister.. i'll give u a link for one.. either get the gray or off white. wear a tank that matches under it, with a little denim mini skirt.. not too short though. or, you can wear a different skirt.. which ever one you find that you like. with a pair of either flats or flip flops.
-also, wear a cute polo [ i love hollister or abercrombie's.. they're really comfy.].. and pop your collar =] with a cute pair of jeans or capris.
- then there are also just those t-shirts and shorts, and layered tank tops are also cute cute cute! you're still young.. stay away from heels. wear sneakers, flip flops, and sometimes flats. try to wear nice things.. but make sure you're still wearing what YOU like. and don't follow everyone else.

if you need anything else.. ask me or look in a teen magazine [elle [my personal fave!! hehe my internship], teen vouge, seventeen, cosmogirl].. any of those.. pick outfits you like.. and try to match them in the stores i gave you.

I am not in 7th, but my very stylish cuz is, lol, she is into rock tees, mini skirts, and leggings with a pair of converse. Or if ur preppy, go with an Aero polo with tight Dark(key item) jeans and wallabees or birkenstocks, those are too very treandy styles rite now, hope i helped!

clothes that fit!! the fashion of the 7th grade is a leader not a follower-- always have you chin up and have confidence and whatever you wear will be considered cool

its not just 7th grade hon,its the rest of the freaking usa.the first chick was right i guess.i think kinda punkish preppy is good,thats what i do.hottopic is good.they have good cute stuff with a punk style

Vintage chic, preppy glam, with a little bit of '80's rock mixed in. Mostly preppy glam though. ((for me anyways)). It's all about the attitude while wearing it. Whether you can pull it of, or you can't pull it off. Things like that.

Shop at Goodys b/c they have cute stuff jeans, vintage-prep stuff, leggings, shoes, everything.
