Certainly, every time someone here criticizes the government or the armed forces it gives people in other countries the idea that most Americans are against the policies of the government.
Instead of presenting a united image, we seem terribly devided to foreigners. The sad part of it all is that those ridiculing the president and the government think that they're real Americans trying to set the government straight. Instead they're helping the enemies of the country.

we (Americans) need to pander to the rest of the world. this is the curse of being the ONLY superpower. just as many laws in the U.S. are made to protect the stupid, so is global diplomacy. this is sad to say. because someone is "ignorant" of circumstances beyond their knowledge, the rest must be "dumbed-down" to compensate, rather than lift the weak.
this is all very confusing to me, however i think it's because it is the path of least resistance. (proven to be wrong, most of the time.)
