does anybody know the answer?

i always wonder how people become actors, where can i go to auditions in chicago

You're lucky because Chicago has wonderful theater. I would call those places and ask when auditions are taking place. You might want to take some acting classes, too and there are a few schools locally where you can do that, as well as private lessons.
