The castles in Germany. I would love to renew my vows near one some day. They are so beautiful!

I think the best I have seen in all of Europe is Strassbourg, France. It is so quaint and pretty for a place of it's size. It has such a romantic feel of France with Cafes and canels and of course the French but with the colourful beauty and history of Germany. Plus the Astronomical clock is cool. I hope to take my husband there one day. I would never recommend Italy to romance, especially Venice. To busy and how romantic is it to have Italian men ogle you while your partner walks along not knowing if they should ignore something so obvious or defend your honour with out getting their butt kicked by the Italian, his family and friends. The smaller towns in Germany and Austria are also quite romantic.

I think for a cheap vacation go to Montenegro because it has to offer same as Croatia but less expensive.
Italy(Venecia) is a little smelly in this time of year, France is great but expensive and too much tourist there so no romantic atmosphere.
Comparing with US Europe has more style and is more romantic.Sorry Richard, I really love America but this the truth.

I dont want you to travel with me and my partner!
....but if YOU like to travel with YOUR partner.... I suggest south of France, or Italy...... enjoy the scenery of endless vineyards, taste great wines & aged old cheese!
Avoid Paris at this time of summer.... you will be squeezed out by crowds, exhausted by the heat..... n definitely not romantic!
Avoid Venice too..... the scenery may be good.........but the canals smell like the 'Klongs' in Bangkok, the sea front of Karachi or the Pasig river in downtown Manila!
A better timing would be ..in Fall.

Budapest. Visit homepages for pictures. You will see it. And can go to Spa's, Wellness Hotels, Caves, everything.....
Check it out. Oh, and it won the title the most romantic city in 2006.

Sicilia, Italy or France. Another idea: Bruge, Belgium, during fall.
This is where I would like to be with my partner only. Your presence would be problematic; we look so similar that he could be mistaken.

It's a little disturbing to see people choose "European" destinations and label them as romantic. What about Miami , FL? Or Boston , MA? Let's not forget we are americans people , not global villagers!
