I'm not a jealous person. But when I come across his old love poems to/with/about other women, I just want to call it quits and walk away. I am head over heels in love with this man and I can't figure out why this bothers me so much.

well if you love him that much its easy you know who he is with now and i hope he is in love with you that's his past before you ever came along . it was hard for me to get over my boyfriends past he slept with his best friend and they are still best friends and now we have became best friends just know who he is spending his time with now and its not them.

It is a hard thing to do to let go of someone's past but you have to remember that you are the one he is with now and if he didn't love you then he would have walked by now.As for his poems and letters they are a window into his heart and can also show you just how sensative he can be it doesn't mean he is going to walk away from you as he is still with you and showing you how much he loves you.So there is no need to feel jealous you should be feeling honoured that he even lets you look into his past and see just how much he is capable of loving you

You need to go to counseling, dearie! You sound immature....the past is the past and even God can't change that! And, what are you doing snooping in his stuff anyway? When someone loves someone they accept them and respect them for who they are and their privacy. You don't sound like a very good risk for him.....if I were him, I would certainly dump you in a New York minute!

it bothers you cause you're heads over heel in love. the thought of another girl's feelings towards your guy brings jealousy. its normal but you won't get over them until they disappear...trust me!

jealosy will kill your relationship without even trying. and here you are giving it the old college try. shame on you! are you that shallow and insecure that a few letters or poems will make you r.u.n.n.o.f.t.? maybe you should leave anyway since you are obviously gonna screw it up anyway. why wait?

talk to him and let him know this bothers you. it shouldn't really bother you. you have him.they don't. unless you don't trust him.
