For each quadratic relation, write the equation in factored form and standard form

1.zeros: -1 and 7; A point on the graph: (3, 5)
2.zeros: -2 and 6; A point on the graph: (-1, -1)

expand and simply each expression

1.(2x +3)(3x-1)+x(2x+4)
2.(3x-4)(x+5)+2((2x-3)(x-5))
3.3(2x+1)²-5(x-4)²
4.(2x-3)³
5.(3x²+6x+1)²

Factor each expression completely

1.3a²+6a
2.x²+7x+12
3.3d²-432
4.8+6x+x²
5.2x-8xy
6.y²+11y+28
7.5b²-14b+8
8.6d²+d+1
9.-16+9x²

thank for all your help..any site recommended to learn the steps and rules? going to summer school...this is not homework, just an assignment. want to compare what i have and see where i went wrong.

expand and simply each expression

1.)
(2x + 3)(3x - 1) + x(2x + 4)
(6x^2 - 2x + 9x - 3) + 2x^2 + 4x
6x^2 + 7x - 3 + 2x^2 + 4x
8x^2 + 11x - 3

2.)
(3x - 4)(x + 5) + 2((2x - 3)(x - 5))
(3x^2 + 15x - 4x - 20) + 2(2x^2 - 10x - 3x + 15)
3x^2 + 11x - 20 + 2(2x^2 - 13x + 15)
3x^2 + 11x - 20 + 4x^2 - 26x + 30
7x^2 - 15x + 10

3.)
3(2x + 1)² - 5(x - 4)²
3((2x + 1)(2x + 1)) - 5((x - 4)(x - 4))
3(4x^2 + 2x + 2x + 1) - 5(x^2 - 4x - 4x + 16)
3(4x^2 + 4x + 1) - 5(x^2 - 8x + 16)
12x^2 + 12x + 3 - 5x^2 + 40x - 80
7x^2 + 52x - 77

4.)
(2x - 3)³
(2x - 3)(2x - 3)(2x - 3)
(4x^2 - 6x - 6x + 9)(2x - 3)
(4x^2 - 12x + 9)(2x - 3)
8x^3 - 12x^2 - 24x^2 + 36x + 18x - 27
8x^3 - 36x^2 + 54x - 27

5.)
(3x² + 6x + 1)²
(3x^2 + 6x + 1)(3x^2 + 6x + 1)
9x^4 + 18x^3 + 3x^2 + 18x^3 + 36x^2 + 6x + 3x^2 + 6x + 1
9x^4 + 36x^2 + 42x^2 + 12x + 1

--------------------------------------------------

Factor each expression completely

1.)
3a² + 6a = 3a(a + 2)

2.)
x² + 7x + 12 = (x + 4)(x + 3)

3.)
3d² - 432 = 3(d^2 - 144) = 3(d - 12)(d + 12)

4.)
8 + 6x + x² = (4 + x)(2 + x)

5.)
2x - 8xy = 2x(1 - 4y)

6.)
y² + 11y + 28 = (y + 7)(y + 4)

7.)
5b² - 14b + 8 = (5b - 4)(b - 2)

8.)
6d² + d + 1 = can't be factored

9.)
-16 + 9x² = (-4 + 3x)(4 + 3x)

1. ax^2+bx+c=y

So: a-b+c=0
49a+7b+c=0
9a+3b+c=5

c=b-a so 48a+8b=0
8a+4b=5

6a+b=0 so b=-6a.

-16a=5 so a=-5/16

too lazy to do the first 2 parts
1. 3a(a+2)
2. x+4)(x+3)
3. 3(d^2 -144
4. x+4)(x+2
5. 2x(1-4y)
6. y+7)(y+4
7. 5b+
8.................?
