Most definitely. Listen to the talking heads on the boob tube, the politicians in Washington, the holy rolling shove it down your throat religious zealots, to name a few 'responsible' adults. Look at the fine mess adults have got us in.
Kids should rule the world, no doubt on that, before being poisoned by adults though. It would be a more gentle, loving, honest world for sure. I am sure it would be a wonderful place to live. I want to be a kid again, let's all be kids again.
Wow, a serious answer...where did that come from.

Not overrated; just misunderstood!
The nice thing about being an adult (if you do it right) is you get to keep most of the best things about childhood, plus you have all the stuff that was out of your reach as a child.
Most people just approach it wrong. They either try to hang on to childhood so tightly that they don't properly use the unique gifts of adulthood; or they think that the have to be 'grown up' now, and forget how to play or appreciate simple things. And, more often than not, those simple things are what make life joyful! Which is why (if the adults aren't messing them up) kids can be happier than so many adults end up being.
Be a good parent to your inner child! Do what you gotta do to support yourselves, then let your inner child come out to play!

adulthood is not as glamorous as it seems, there are alot of responsiblities to take on. Moving away from parents, buying a house or renting an apartment. Paying for food, gas, electric, Car payments, etc. It is all you, and it sucks, sometimes, but then again there are more times that it is great, you have a lot more freedom to make your own decisions.

Yes,
a childhoods end is the beginning
of adulthood misery ....
The freedom of illusion is gone,
as adults we wake up & see the
world, when we are children we
see imagination, as adults we create
all the harm, as children we know freedom
before the age of 5,
as adults we long for freedom, & as adults
we feel freedom is only theoretical,
the only way for adults to be free is first
see yourself,
and still we are not as free as a child's
mind ......
