Led Zeppelin is the best band by most people's standards because they have everything, a great singer, good guitarist, and kick *** drums. Most of my friends, however, would probably go for Metallica, but the only good thing they got going is an amazing guitar. Druggies would probably go for the doors because all his songs were about acid trips. I, however, go for The Jimi Hendrix Experience because Jimi Hendrix didn't just play great guitar, he made great songs. And if you pay attention to the other two members of the band you will hear that they're not so bad either. I just think it's amazing that Jimi only spent a few years putting out good music, but he is still considered one of the greatest musicians ever. The guy didn't even know how to read music.

I do not know how one could choose, saying as they all contributed to different genres of musicand are legendary in different ways... but ill jsut tell you how to spell them... ;)..
le sigh.. i think i would have to go with hendrix and zeppelin though...
