The Democratic Party is drowning in a quagmire of Liberals who campaign against people, not in favor of the things that are really important to the majority of the American people. If they are ever going to toss the Republicans out of the oval office, they are going to have to dump the radical Liberals, and take a more moderate stance.

While most American tend to associate a Democrat as a liberal, I can assure you that they're far from it, as much as Republicans would be associated with Conservatism.

One example as far as Democrats, Joe Lieberman is a Democrat and Dianne Feinstein is a Democrat. However, nobody will deny that Joe Lieberman holds more conservative views than Dianne Feinstein who is more of a liberal.

The same goes for Republicans Olympia Snowe and Tom DeLay. They're both Republicans, but Olympia Snowe is quite liberal in comparison to Tom DeLay who is far to the right.

But overall, even the most liberal of Americans are truly centrists. There is no true Left party in the US.

All the moderates are gone, all their is left are liberals and they are destroying the party. The last moderate was Joe Lieberman, and the Democrats turned against him on his bid to be President. The liberals do not agree with anybody, that is why nothing is getting done in the house or Senate. Well their might be other moderates but their afraid to open their mouth.

They balance the budget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 1992, Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton was elected the 42nd President of the United States. President Clinton ran on the promise of a New Covenant for America's forgotten working families. After twelve years of Republican presidents, America faced record budget deficits, high unemployment, and increasing crime. President Clinton's policies put people first and resulted in the longest period of economic expansion in peacetime history. The Deficit Reduction Act of 1993 — passed by both the House and Senate without a single Republican vote — put America on the road to fiscal responsibility and led to the end of perennial budget deficits. Having inherited a $290 billion deficit in 1992, President Clinton's last budget was over $200 billion in surplus. The Clinton/Gore Administration was responsible for reducing unemployment to its lowest level in decades and reducing crime to its lowest levels in a generation. In 1996, President Clinton became the first Democratic president reelected since Roosevelt in 1936. In 1998, Democrats became the first party controlling the White House to gain seats in Congress during the sixth year of a president's term since 1822.

They are chickens. They have so much that they could use against the republicans but they don't. They are not being honorable, they are letting down the entire country by being silent.
