Does anybody have any idea what the Indians' front office is up to? With Wickman, Crisp, and Broussard gone this year, I'm beginning to think Shapidiot the GM is trying to rebuild the team. Again. Any guesses as to what the crud he's doing?

Losing Crisp will be huge for Cleveland in a couple years, Andy Marte will be a top 10 hitter in baseball. As far as the rest of the moves, the biggest loss to the Indians was Milwood.

The team got off to a bad start this year and so getting rid of Broussard and Wickman wasn't a bad move if they got young talent in return. Plus with the way that the Tigers, Twins, and White Sox are playing they have no shot at the playoffs. With the young nucleus they have to build around, they should be very good for a long time, stop worrying about this year.

i think he "sees" that Wickman, broussard, and crisp are all one-hit-wonders and he is trying to build a team with more "reliable" players perhaps

He's probably tired of hearing about how Thome and Manny were the dumbest non-re-signings in the history of western civilization, and trying to give us Cleveland sports fans something new to tirade about.

P.S. Thank God for the Cavs!!!
