There was 13yrs old boy walking his Doberman dog accross the street (j-walking) when they were both stuck by a car. .
I am only trained in animal first aid,so I gave the dog CPR.I saved the dogs life.
here was 20 people standing around .At least one of them could have given first aid to the boy.unfortunatly the boy passed away.
I feel at least i save an innocent life.DO YOU THING I WAS WRONG

This was a tragic incident that you tried to help.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

You weren't wrong.

The people that hate you should be hating themselves for not doing anything.

At least you tried.

i feel so bad for you, that must have been terrible. If you think you're the only one in a situation who is thinking, give directions, be like I only know Animal CPR (not that i think it'll happen again).
Who knows CPR? If no one Responds ask who has a cell phone, tell them to call an ambulance or 911. Maybe you could have tried...i think like 1 in 20 ppl actually know CPR so, i guess you were a technicality in the situatuation. I'm sorry, you must feel terrible

well, the person who hit the boy and his dog could have been charged with animal crulety and you saved a dogs life wich is great, but u didn't save the boys life,....they shouldn't be mad cuz u didn't save the boys life cuz you only knew animal first aid not human first aid,the parants should be happy that they probably still have a part of their son with them a.k.a the dog.you only knew how to save a dogs life, not a childs life so don't feel guilty you did your job, that you went to school for,but other ppl should have tried to save the boys life, they were probably thinkin since u know how to save a dogs life that u just might know how to save a persons life so they gave u the responability of saving this boys life ,but they should have known that you only know how to do animal first aid

don't feel so bad. u saved the poor creature's life. u did what u had 2 do. think about it: if u were not there, the dog would have died along with the boy. u saved one life and i think u shouldn't be blamed; instead u should be awarded 4 saving an animal's life. most people wouldn't save an animal. they would just let him rot til he died. you're that dog's hero! keep saving more doggies out there. ^_^

A human really should have been the first priority, but don't feel too bad as it doesn't seem that the other people rushed in to help any! Let alone find help. You used what skills you had and they are more guilty then you for doing nothing.

UHHH.....YEAH....well, I would have tried to do the cpr on the kid, dogs are replaceable. But you should have tried to help the boy. No one would have been mad if you atleast tried to save him
