I'd want to know the make and model of the car.
Needs attention...could mean some electrical problem like a sensor out of whack...or (hopefully not) potential serious engine problem.
Get it to a reputable mechanic soon.

It's possible that the pickup screen is clogged. Take it to a mechanic and have the engine flushed with deisel fuel and put fresh oil and filter in it. Good luck.

Check your oil, you may need to add some oil or you may have a clogged filter or you may have a more serious problem. Your best bet is to check to make sure that you have the proper amount of oil and also may need to have oil , and filter changed and flushed.
