Why is it that when a boy goes swimming he can wear a pair of shorts and also a shirt too, but girls are given a bathing suit that is skin tight and leaves just a little bit to cover between the legs and leaves a lot of her legs showing? I was just wondering why nobody has found this to be sexist and degrading

you have to wonder why the female bathing suit is designed to just cover the intimate area.

I know there are speedos but for females its the either the one piece which stops at the crotch or wear less by choosing a bikini.

Did you forget about the Speedo?? Guys choose not to wear them because they're gross.
Girls choose to wear skimpy bathing suits. It's not degrading if they choose it! And it isn't sexist. Most people find the female body beautiful and want to show more of it (and look at more of it!). Most women don't want to look at a guy wearing a Speedo where it looks like he's hauling around a bunch of grapes and a banana.
Sorry, but it's true.

It is much more difficult to find non-skimpy women's suits. I've always hated this. You can hardly enjoy swimming if you constantly have to worry if your suit is covering everything. I don't go swimming to give anyone else a skin show.

I've often wondered about that too. The same is true about them in class ballet suits and similar outfits.

It's not sexist. It's called a Speedo.

The clothing styles are also inconsistent with the attitudes of guarding chastity.
