I might have too much stuff. I have a scarf from the Elvis impersonator at a work Christmas party a couple of years ago as the "platform" for everything else. Then I have: 3 little angels, a sea shell, a mini license plate key chain with my name a co-worker brought me back from Vegas, a wooden elephant the same co-worker bought me at a craft fair, an elephant that i bought at Endless Caverns in VA, a "lucky elephant" that a different co-worker gave me after he saw the other 2, 3 Playdoh roses (that the keychain, elephant giver made me), a plastic iguana named Imogene, a beanbag lizard that sadly has no name (send suggestions! he is multi-colored kinda cobblestone looking), and finally a bottle of rose oil in a deocrative wooden bottle from Bulgaria (gift from another co-worker).

The closest thing to a mascot I have is a pic of Blooregard Q Kazoo on my computer desk. He's wearing sunglasses and giving me a thumbs up which makes me smile. Yes, I am a dork.

I have a big stuffed cow about the size of a full-grown beagle but fatter. It is there because I don't have anywheres else to keep it. If it is on the floor the dog tries to chew it. Got the dog in February but got the cow for Christmas and had lots of fun putting it around the house. On the stairs, peeking into my daughter's room or on the couch. And then I would scold it for being on the couch. My daughter thought I was completely crazy. My daughter's friend became scared of it because it kept moving and when she came out of my daughter's room and saw it peaking in she screamed. It was really funny but now Princess Consuela Banana Hammock has to stay on top of my computer monitor.

I have this little blue rubber bug girl with wings, that I once had hanging from my guitar case.I would set her on the computer if it was MY computer. Maybe I'll make it my Avatar some day! Why? Because she's so cute!
(My Mercedes is full of plastic dinosaurs and fish. I had hundreds at one time.
My '65 Mustang is too mature for such regalia, so I just have a pair of Fuzzy Pac-Man Dice hanging from the mirror.)

Yes. I have a small (6 inch) orange construction cone that says " If today is the first day of the rest of my life, I'm toast". It was a free gift from the local Hallmark store with a $50 purchase. My 10 year old daughter picked it out, (she loves toast), and placed it on the computer.

Every year, the company I work for gives you a red rose on your birthday. It's a warm fuzzy company thing...whatever...
My birthday was long ago. I hung the rose upside down and let it dry out. Now it is taped and sticking up on the side of my monitor. It is VERY dead and ugly. haha
Many people have really stupid happy little pieces of various crap all over their monitors and I think it's stupid. That's why I put up this ugly dead rose. Somebody has to even it all out. It will stay there until next year when I get another.....

Yeah, there is some person in a giant lion costume wearing a blue and yellow jersey sitting on my monitor. How did you know? And, I don't really know why he is there. His tail is kind of getting in the way.

I keep my workspace plain, plain, plain...less to distract me. I usually work from home, but when I shared an office with other people, they would always come by and ask why I didn't have any pictures or anything. But a clear desk equals a clear mind to me!
