Why are there "labels"? cuz people don't want too get too know the real you so they put you in a catagory with everyone esle. I know labels aren't going too stop all at once. but if you keep trying eventually they will stop.

I dont' buy into them. I was someone who used to but now I have been on the other end of it and until you get it I don't think you truly appreciate it.

I wasn't a nasty person or anything but I would judge without really knowing the person. Then I realised it's more important to know them for who they are not what they look like or what they do etc.

I came out of the closet and that was when I was labelled. Mostly good but instantly I got put into the 'butch' category etc.

My boss had never liked gays before I came out of the closet and because she knew me she sort of relaxed her view. Then she tells other people that we aren't all bad because she knows one and nothing about me has changed.

So yeah it is hard not to label but sometimes I think you can come around to your senses.
