Big Bird vs. Animal?
Kermit vs. Kermit?
although the Muppets seem tougher at first glance, they are technically Hollywood stars whereas the original Sesame Street gang ARE New York puppets from the 'hood. They got street cred. They must have some gangsta in 'em.
I vote for the old school Sesame Street posse!

The Sesame Street characters ARE Muppets. kermit was in both Sesame Street and the Muppet Movies.

Definitely the sesame street gang... They consist of a monster, a grouch, and a big *** bird. Not to mention all the others. The muppets are, well, they're just muppets!

The muppets. They were a little crazy, and that animal definitely had issues. The sesame street gang was more wholesome, didn't seem to be the fightin kind.

LOL I requested a similar question. properly before each and every thing Sesame highway does have monsters and a vampire. They actually have a significant elephant. yet Muppets are purely animals. yet they do have 7 extra puppets than Sesame highway. So i ought to assert Sesame highway.

Oh well I think the Muppets......they were always a lil wild and crazy, specially Animal, and Gonzo with his jealousy issues.....and Sesame Street was politically correct before their time...so they wouldn't win for sure.
