Don't you see red when you get angry? Plus, bulls are color blind. They can't see red. They have dog vision. Black and white. Bulls are provoked by the person with the red piece of fabric because that person waves the fabric in a way that makes bulls go after it. Or maybe bulls just like to run toward fabric.

A bull doesn't get angry when it sees red. That's a common misconception. A bull is color-blind and is excited by the cape being waved in front of it. (Now for a common sense answer) how would you feel if someone kept waving something annoying in front of you?

The bull isn't reacting to the color red. Red is just the traditional color of a matador's cape. It's the motion when the matador waves his cape that infuriates the bull.

when bulls are young, they get no contact with anything so when they see the matador waving the red flag, their instinct tells them to attack the thing that moves. That's why when the matador is waving the flag he shakes it so the bull notices and he tries to stay in the same place and tries not to move much. This is so the bull doesn't attack him and only tries to attack the flag.

Bulls, like other quadrupeds, are color-blind. They are being antagonized by someone standing in front of them waving something, but they don't care what color that something is.
