Exxon makes $1,318 a second am I the only one that sees a problem with that. Am I the only one not buying the oil company saying they are reinvesting it all in new technology and alternitive fuels. somethings going on with the oil industry ( and it's bigger than Bush being president so don't blame him he's an idiot and the oil people know it) I'm not able to find anything that prooves they are spending even half of that 10.4 billion. But I do have a friend that used to work for the oil company and he told me somin interesting. Most oil companies put a cost of r&d into there price of oil to cover the opperating cost of doing the r&d that way they maximize there profits at the end of each quarter to make the companies more profitable.... whats your oppinion

I Think that for one month they should let everyone in the country fill up their gas tank as many times as they can ...........so everybody get ready to go on vacation......lol.....As far as bush the reason he isnt doing anything about it is because he is an oil man and he is making money off of there profits so we know were our presidents head is as far as the american consumer is conserned in his wallet.....Money,money, money.

No, you aren't the only one. Those obscene profits at our expense are not being spent on research. Research spending has already been taken out of profits.
