My friend plans on getting one, but she has her mind made up. The company she's ording from has an EXCAT replica down to the signatures of the school she's getting the degree from and they give her transcrips and verification sevice.

transcripts come from the university by registered mail. The verification service won't get the call from the employer...the employer is generally smart enough to contact the university directly.
It would be better if she never tried than getting caught in the scam. Word might get out...then she could get a hard time getting a job, 'specially if she gets fired.
BTW, i think employers like to hire people with phony credentials so they can be fired later. That way, a record of employment *and* termination is created. See, the law won't prosecute for phony degrees. So best they can do is fire the person and ruin the reputation/employment record.

No! Eventually, the person gets caught! sometimes employers wait as long as 6 months investigating the authenticy of the Degree and the Schools Accreditations. The degrees are normally called "Diploma Mills" passing off as Legitimate, Authentic Degree's.
Employee's are very much aware of these types of Degree's, even the professional replica's! So, don't say I didn't warn you. If you caught, (just to note), it stays permanetly on your employment records for all employers to See!

i have a friend who made his own and has been using it for years he is so good at his job we all kind of forgot after a while, at first we were afraid he would get caught
