In the Dormer endospore stain, a smear covered with carbolfuchsin is steamed, then decolorized with acid-alcohol and counterstained with nigrosin. What would the microscopic appearance be after this procedure?

The endospores inside each bacterium (or free-floating, of course, if they've already been lysed) will be a bright pink, while the bacteria themselves are a light pink. Here's a great illustration:
