I was in Italy, and i bought a new ball cap. I was bending the brim of my hat, because thats what my dad tought me to do. It fits better to your face that way. Someone from England saw me, and said that she had seen other americans do that. She said no one in england ever did that. I was just wondering if anyone else does that. In the US or not.

oh god was she kidding..most of the people in england do this..we are a cap family especially in this heat and we all bend the brim to make it fit properly i cant stand it when its straight it looks so grim..and yuk..im in the south of england..and most of us here do it.

Those dorks, we invented the Baseball cap if anyone should know how to properly wear one it's an American! maybe they should invent soccer hats so we have another thing to laugh at them with.

i dont know but i always bend my hats when i get them it makes them feel better on your face and blocks out more sun

Thats crap. My dad is from london (orig from south africa) and he does it all the time. When we went to visit family...alot of ppl were doin it. That lady was full of crap.

I know someone who does it because he likes fiddling about with his hat, but he doesn't do it specifically like that on purpose, if you know what I mean.
