No problem. We'll just take this stepwise.

x = 2t -3 / 3t -2

...multiply both sides by (3t-2) to get rid of the pesky fraction...

x (3t-2) = 2t -3

...factor out the x...

3tx -2x = 2t -3

...subtract 2t from both sides to get t on one side only...

3tx -2t -2x = -3

...add 2x to both sides to help isolate t...

3tx -2t = 2x -3

...factor out the t...

t (3x-2) = 2x -3

...divide both sides by (3x-2) to finish...

t = 2x -3 / 3x -2

There you go! An explicit solution for t for all versions of x. Hope that helps!

My 11 yr old thinks it could be:

2t=4 3/3t=1 so 4-1=3-2=1 so the answer is 1

dude its the summer and umm i would say do the inverse and multiply which would lead you to Foiling it first inside outside last ummm 2t x 3t , 3 x 3t, 2t x 2, 3 x 2 then add and set equal to zero i might be wrong i'm not sure what level of math this is

Did you mean to write

x = (2t - 3)/(3t - 2)

If so, multiply both sides by (3t - 2)

x(3t - 2) = 2t - 3

3xt - 2x = 2t - 3

Add 2x to both sides

3xt = 2t + 2x - 3

Subtract 2t from both sides

3xt - 2t = 2x - 3

Factor out the t

t(3x - 2) = 2x - 3

Divide both sides by (3x - 2)

t = (2x - 3)/(3x - 2)

1)Multiply both sides by 3t-2
x(3t-2)=2t-3
2) multiply each term by x
3xt-2x=2t-3
3) bring like terms on each side of the equation (the "t's", and move everything else to the other side)
3xt-2t=2x-3
4)factor out a "t"
t(3x-2)=2x-3
5)simplify: divide by (3x-2)
t=(2x-3)/(3x-2)

Answer:
T:x =2t - 3/3t -2
2t - 1t -2
1t -2

or T:X =2t -3/3t -2
2t - 1t -2
1-2
= -1

x = (2t - 3) / (3t - 2)
Multiply both sides by (3t - 2).
x(3t - 2) = 2t - 3
Distribute.
3tx - 2x = 2t - 3
Add (-2t + 2x) to both sides, to get all t terms to one side.
3tx - 2t = 2x - 3
Factor out the t.
t(3x - 2) = 2x - 3
Divide both sides by (3x - 2) to isolate t.
t = (2x - 3) / (3x - 2)

via algebra, enable no of tickets (adults) bought be a, and for no of tickets (infants) bought be c. a + c = 40 - on condition that the finished volume of tickets is 40 10a + 5c = 310 - on condition that the finished fee is 310 (sum of tickets cases/multiply via indiviual expenses) via fixing simultaneous equations, we could continually get the equation under: 5a = one hundred ten a = 22 for this reason, type of adults tickets bought is 22. on the different hand, you may create a table in excel sheet, and use trial-and-blunders to get your answer.

make the denominator for the right hand side for all terms : 3t
then use the quadratic formula to solve for t in the numerator...then simplify numerator and denonminator by eliminating common denominator..and you should have the value for T.
