It is anything ingested that incites sexual passion in the taker. You know like a "love potion". Oysters are supposed to make people horny and so we call them an aphrodisiac. The word comes from "Aphrodite" who is the Greek godess of love.

Aphrodisiac is a food or drug that is said to give people a strong desire to have sex. In simple common terms that which makea people horny.
People have been on the search for aphroidisiacs to enhance their sexual ability & prowess but not with graet success. But still the search is going on.
If the aphroidisiacs that really work are found, it would make the inventors sudden multi-millionaires.
Is there anyone who don't wish to have their sexual desire enhanced?
So the search more than for Turning base metals into gold or alternate fuel source to the dwindling petrol resources..
