go to the dermatologist. You could have something like eczema. I have that, and sometimes it's a bit darker.

Oh! my sister had the same thing as you..she hated wearing tank tops and sleeveless shirts b/c she was afraid that she'd have to lift her arms up and everyone would see her armpits.
.she shaved and all but the dark color was still there...she went to the doctors and they had told her that it she had it because she was a little chunky. the doc said it was common, nothing contagious though, and she also had it around her neck, she had a very light ring. it wasn't because she didn't wash her neck, (she does), but it too was b/c of her little chunky weight.
the doc gave her a prescription cream to use on it, that would make the stain lighter, but i dont' know if it worked for her.
ppl here are saying to use a bleaching cream or something...u can try that and see how it works out for you.
good luck!

My wife is Latina and she uses a lightening cream they sell at the drugstore. Although I don't know why, if you are dark you are dark. Makes her feel better so no worries.

You might be allergic to the perfumes that are used in the deodorants. I recommend using Dermadoctor Total NonScents Ultra-Gentle Brightening Antiperspirant. They also have a deodorant; but you can use that after you’ve used the brightening one for a while. It’s a little pricey – but worth it.

I'd worry about working on your spelling more than your armpits.
