I am a virgin and will be getting married soon. I keep hearing horror stories about the first time for women. Does it really hurt so much? Do you bleed? What happens?

Also, what kind of birth control pill is the best?

Thanks!

yea it hurts, but ALOT of foreplay before you go the whole nine yards, will help loosen you up, or break your "hymen" which is the sealer of the vagina, sometimes this will bleed, but if you have had foreplay it should already be broken. Always remember to relax and it will be alot smoother, don't tense up,enjoy yourself and him.In some woman, it doesn't hurt at all.

Birth Control, allese is a good one, it has one of the lowest doses of hormones, and is one of the few that is less likely to make you gain weight. Sometimes though you have to try a few out to see what works for you.

Congrats on the wedding.

Well, congrats to you first off. For some it hurts more than others. For me not so much, it's just that you don't really enjoy it until the 3rd or 4th time. It's partly because your just not use to having anything in there, and your nervous. Lots of foreplay so you get excited and RELAXED. Yes, you can bleed, not very much though and then it stops right away.

Birth control should be discussed with a Ob/Gyn, they can decide what's best for you. All bc pills work differently for everyone, also there are risks associated w/ the pill, so think it over first and get plenty of info.

Good luck!

It does hurt the first time but I think most of that is caused by how stressed a woman gets about how bad it will hurt. Relax, ask him to give you a back massage and use some oils to help relax you. There are some massage oils that double as a lubricant. Moisture "down there" is the key...the wetter the better.

As for birth control pills, I don't know much on the subject. I use the nuva ring which is very easy and convenient to use. One ring kept in for 3 weeks, take it out for a week and get your period. Easier than trying to remember a pill every day.

Losing your virginity is an individual experience. Some women find it quite painful, while others experience a moment of discomfort yet are able to enjoy it. You might bleed if your hymen is opened up. However, many active, athletic women have already stretched it or broken it.

The best thing to do is to take it slow the first time and make sure you are completely aroused before you let him enter you.

Your doctor can recommend the best birth control pill for you. If you want cleare skin, mention that to her because that may make a difference in what she prescribes.

Talk to your Dr. about the birth control. Try relax your first time. I have heard of a lot women that don't bleed. I've had 4 kids and I still bleed sometimes. You'll be okay. Congrats!

Just go slowly and you'll be just fine. You guys also might want to try and get personal lubricant. It makes things a lot easier. Depending on you it might or might not hurt. If it does hurt you, trust me it won't hurt a lot. (You'll be fine) Just look out for bleeding. It's totally normal, but it usually happens to girls during thier first time. So, don't let it scare you. I get the shot. The shot lets your periods stop (no cramping, blood, headaches, etc.) and you have to get it every 3 months. It might hurt a little though.

It does bleed the first time, yes, and it can hurt. It might not hurt, but that depends on your individual physical condition, on the sexual practices you and your partner will engage in, and on his experience. You obviously do not have any experience at all.
As much as I respect people's decisions in that matter, I think it is a mistake to get married without having a clear picture of the person one is getting married to. And to know a person fully and thoroughly, one needs to know also the intimate sides of him/her. Only then one can be sure that there is a base for harmony, joy and happiness. Sadly, religious organisations still educate people in irresponsible ways and prevent them from living normal healthy lives.

Just relax, everyone is different...Just tell the man your with to be gentle.. There will be a small amount of blood due to the hyman breaking and it doesn't hurt if he is gentle.

Good luck and enjoy!!!
