Throughout the medieval ages, there was warfare. Often, it was vulgar and brutal, as war generally is, but occasionally, they were less vulgar and brutal. In fact they were hardly brutal or vulgar at all!

There were knights during the medieval ages, and they fought eachother during the wars. Knight usually wore armour to stop the oppenent slicing them open like a bag of bacon. If a knight was sliced open by his oppenent, this usually meant he would die, for the loss of blood would have been dire.

In conclusion, there were knights and they fought in battles which were sometimes brutal and vulgar, but other times less so.

If you want to know about medieval warfare, look up "chivalry". This will tell you a quintessential part of their warfare style, up to its fallout in the Hundred Years War.

The longbow, siege equipment, feudalism (big time contributor there), and cavalry will help. Also the forming ideas of nationalism were big parts. Look up Free Companies too, which were another big part of it as mercenary warfare began to replace feudal obligation...

... You could write a book on this. There's plenty. Personally, I don't see how you could keep it to something so short as 100+ words...

I won't write something for you, but I will give you some topics:
seige warfare
fedalism and army organization
weapons types and uses
the role of technology in medieval combat (armor, weapons, bow, crossbow)
historic battles

Frankly, one could write a book (and I'm sure they have) on any one of these topics. Check out Wikipedia; it should be an excellent source for such a short paper. Good luck (and don't get in trouble; some schools may count this as cheating).
