i personally love both, even though i grew up watching the simpsons and lots of the storylines and jokes from family guy come from the simpsons. i don't like the new episodes from either show that are airing right now on fox. which do you like more & why?

I like the old simpsons.. this season sucked pretty much but next season seems promising. But right now I gotta say family guy because its the most out right funny thing on fox. the jokes are hilarious whocares about how much sense the storyline makes (or how much it doesn't). I got family guy over the simpsons right now.

They are both funny
I'd have to say the simpsons though
the simpsons is a classic
family guy is not as funny when you watch reruns
and parts of what makes family guy so funny is that there jokes are so random

Simpsons. Family Guy is sometimes just too inappropriate. Simpsons, sometimes there was actually a good educational episode. My teachers in high school and college sometimes showed The Simpsons to teach us a few lessons.

The Simpsons. Only dumb people who don't get The Simpsons' parodies watch Family Guy for the dumb humor and fat jokes. It's a bonus when you understand what's being made fun of in Simpsons. Smart people enjoy it, dumb people enjoy it. What's not to love? Family guy... a fat man and his fat family, one of which is a dog and another one which speaks with a British accent? Enough said.
Hey, if you don't believe me, watch the coming posts and see who chooses Simpsons and Family Guy. You won't be surprised to find Family Guy lovers have lower IQs...

Family Guy hands down. Reason being i'm sick to death of the Simpsons and all the repeats they show on T.V i'm pretty sure i've seen every episode about 4 times.

Family Guy. Something about the Simpsons also bothered me; not really sure what, but whatever it was always kept me from really watching it. Family Guy on the other hand has always just been stupidly funny.

i like the story lines from the simpsons. family guy has funny moments but the stories aren't as good
