I do not think that that can be valid approach to the problem. Many years of oppression and even the latest Holocost do not give any moral rights to oppress or kill other people. However, that is not the case. Israel has never started wars through its short history. She had to defend herself against multiple enemies with much higher economical, political, and human resources. She won every war so far, but not the war with terrorists, as this is much more complicated thn conventional battle between conventional armies. To make piece, Israel started to give up territories, and ocasionally her own principles (letting terrorists out of prisons in exchange for captured soldiers and unclear promises from their neighbors. But, terrorists perceived that as signs of weekness, and intensified the struggle. This terrorist wave activisation was also caused by general shift of some of the Muslim groups to the radical terrorist activities. For them, wiping all Jews from the Holy Land would be just first step for capturing the world. 9-11 was just the first attempt. They are planning much more violent actions.
I hope, World will finally understand, where the danger comes from. It is not tool late to destroy this societal illness. When Jews are killed in Israel, Russians near Chechnia, Serbs in formet Yugoslavia, Christian Arabs in Lebanon, it seams that it is so far, and we have nothing to do with that.
I remember as one of the Germans said about Hitler Germany:
"At the beginning, the killed all the Communists. I did not care, as I was not a Communist. Next they killed all Jews. I did not object as I was not a Jew. Next they came after church activists. I did not care since I was not among them. But, when they came after myself, there was already nobody, who would be able to raise his voice for my behalf." Sorry, this is not exact citation, but the main idea is clear.
There is no bystanders in this war!

Funny, I was about to same the same thing about the Palestinians.

You know, I have an uncle, a decorated army special forces guy who served in the region for a while. He told me he was impressed by how much the Israelis learned from the Nazis when dealing with Palestinians. For instance, your 3rd cousin is implicated in an attack on Israeli army. YOU are prompty arrested and so is your family. That is how they work. There are no excuses.

You should really learn more about the history of the two groups. You'll find that both have their share of evildoing, and the Israelis are surprisingly ahead in that.

That's what you get when the West meddles with countries they care nothing about: The British Empire with Iraq (1920s), The Allies making Israel, etc.

No wonder so many of those countries hate the West.

I'm not jewish but I hate it how after those terrorists killed so many, people have the nerve to say Israel doesn't have the right to DEFEND itself. Israel gave away Gaza and even through that those idiots think they have the right for more. Israel is such a tiny place and yet those idiots want more from it. Israel I hope you teach them a lesson since the rest of the world is too afraid to.
