You may not believe this, but not enough. I nurse in a hospital and the physicians I work with are always in and out of the hospital. They round on the floor, then go see pts in the office, then they come back into the the hospital to see pts they sent to the hospital while they were in the office. They are on call at nite and have to be able to pick up the phone on a ring and give an order at 2 o'clock in the morning which could be life altering.
They are the most dedicated professionals I have ever had the privledge of knowing.
