Pat Benatar by far.
That woman can f*cking SING.
Jesus.
And to the guy above me.
The greatest show I've ever been too was Pat Benatar and Joan Jett together.
Talk about fun.
Although, I was scared to go to the bathroom.
Rows and Rows of gross looking lesbians....the kind where you couldn't tell their gender....*shudder*

Seeing as how Blondie was formed in 1974
and continued into the 80's i would have to say;
BLONDIE !!
Pat Benatar was a great band though ...
love their songs !!
" Hell is For Children "
" Love is a Battlefield "
" Heartbreaker "
But, i'll go with Blondie ......

I say Blondie.
Blondie had timeless songs that people can easily remember. Very cutting edge stuff at the time. I saw a show about them on VH1 Classic. Pat Benatar has Love is a Battlefield. People mostly just remember the video. Hmm...
Anyway, Blondie is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm most certain Pat Benatar is not.

Blondie - 'cos it's more pop, they're trendier and Debbie Harry was way more attractive.
And the name - I mean Blondie just sounds cool. Pat Benatar sounds like she should be a raving evangelical preacher.
Oh, and because Pat Benatar wasn't a band, for good measure! ;-)

I really liked that one song that Blondie sang; however, overall I think Pat Benatar is the better.

Blondie for sure. That was such a great, inspiring band. I even went to an 80's themed party dressed as Debbie Harry from Blondie.
