every time i tell my girlfriend just how beautiful i think she is, she tells me that she doesn't want to hear that because she knows she's not pretty at all.She has even gone as far as to ask me why i'm with her instead of with a "HOT" chick as she puts it.

Tell her that she has to learn how to take a compliment. She's probably just a bit insecure with herself, but you need to sit her down and tell her that she is beautiful, and that her response to you saying this is hurting you. That will make her wise up and realize that you really do think this.

ok i know this is late coz this is like your 12549243 answer but anyway you have 2 read this coz i know EXACTLY how she feels coz i feel the same way too... lngerie isnt going to help neither is dumping her for a more confident girl, thats just going to make her feel like crap, what she feels is she sees lindsay lohan, hil duff, paris hilton..etc. and feels she isnt as thin, or beautiful or famous as them, what she wants is someone to tell her that these girls can never be like her (if she starts to get mad, just ask her to listen to you in a calm voice), tell her that she is perfect and beautiful and no one can even make your life happier the way she does, you have to tell her everything you feel, she needs to know you love her, because she thinks she isnt worthy enough to be loved, she really needs to hear how you feel and not just telling her she's beautiful but everything about her. and by the way she might/probably have an eating disorder coz people who feel this way usually do, so you should talk to her about that too (if u want to). Show her she's beautiful. And tell her when it's proper (like not right after you just saw a super hot chick with a nice rack pass you and your gf by....)

If u really like her for who she iz then ok tell her the truth if she thinks shes ugly and u dont u need to explain to her why she iz buetiful and why u think that and if she cares what people think about her then explain that who cares what other people think ur her boyfriend tell her ill love you no matter what and i dont care what u think cuz u are going to be with her no matter how she looks.

as a girl i reckon she likes to hear you say that u think she is beautiful even though she is self concious about her looks, believe me i am the same way, i love it when my fiance tells me he thinks im pretty but sometimes i get paranoid that he's lying to make me feel better.
just tell her you love her, its the easiest and most romantic way to roll all your feelings into 3 little words.

It sounds like she doesn't feel good about herself, so she thinks you shouldn't feel good about her either. I can't guarantee she won't get mad, but you can tell her you love her for who she is as well as how she looks and she IS beautiful in your eyes. (-: Also, I used to tell my husband he was perfect and he'd make derogatory comments about himself, so I always let him know I love him and he may not be perfect, but he's perfect for me.
