Depends what you mean by looking at women as "sex objects". All straight guys see women as sex objects to some degree...and that is normal. That doesn't mean all guys objectify women...that is different. The guys who do that are usually compensating for their own self esteem problems...it basically makes them feel like more of a man. When you talk about "respecting women" you should realize that most people treat other people with a certain level of respect initially, but that level may increase or decrease with time depending on what happens during the course of the relationship. Simply put, just because a guy who sees you for the first time on the street or in a bar thinks you're hot and wants to make a move on you doesn't mean he's a bad guy or that he doesn't respect you...attraction is as much a part of human nature as sex is.

I guess I could answer like you would expect and say yes, but unfortunately a lot of "men" have used that line just to "score". So i guess you have to make that decision on your own on a case by case basis. a good way to tell is look at the relationship he has with his mother and the other women in his family to see if he has the capacity for respect. i hope this helps.

I believe very much in Trust, Respect, Honesty, Caring, sharing, Appreciation, A sense of Humor, and unconditional love.
With me, you have to be open to communication first, because that builds trust. You have to be a genuine friend as well, because that will last a lifetime.
I don't like to control anyone because that takes the fun out of life. Not knowing what is ahead while having a keen sense of adventure and excitement whenever we get a chance to explore something new is what means the world to me as well.

So...... you want a guy who will never want to have sex with you (since by definition, he would have to look at you as a "sex object" to do so)... for some sort of relationship???
That sounds pretty kinky to me. I think that's why God invented "male relatives".
Seriously, though..... act like you are worthy of respect and guys will treat you that way. Besides, why would you want to control people like that?
