Not enough info about what is causing it, allergies?? whooping cough? Cigarette smoke.? The best thing is a humidifier if there is no infection present. But get a good quality humidifier and clean it regularly. Or steam yourself on a regular basis. Steam bath, face over pot of hot water to catch steam(not close enough to burn yourself). Also for dried phelm in lungs and throat , eucalyptus is great for loosening and getting rid of dry cough. Add that to hot water or they have things for the shower to set off the herb when taking a hot shower.

A humidifier if you aren't sick or a smoker, absolutely. If you are sick, a gargle made of Sage anf Thyme tea (strong - 1 tbsp per cup) with a little Sea salt 3 times daily will set it right in 2 - 3 days. I am at windstarhealing.com if you have any questions

camomile tea. It soothes the throat and helps the healing of that raw feeling you get from dry coughs.
