The problem with the lyrics is that Jesus isn't about just one person. He would have died to save one, but he died for all. You can't have a personal Jesus because Jesus is for everyone. He's not even just for good people, cause all people are inately bad. So the concept of a "personal Jesus" contradicts itself.
