I agree. I wish we could exile Democrats for their anti-patriotism.

We've already won the war in Iraq! When Bush landed on that carrier and said major combat operations were over and that we prevailed, we WON!! Our Armed Forces done a great job of overthrowing the Iraqi government. But now we are an occupying army . And yes we should end the occupation! We need to turn the country over to the Iraqi people so they can rebuild it.
As for blocking refineries, the oil companies don't want any more refineries. That way they can keep a tight rein on the oil supply. Remember when Bush said that they could build new refineries on old army bases. And he'd even suspend the environmental regulations. There was no takers!

Excuse me, pinhead, for one thing, we already won in Iraq, our failing is that we have stuck around and not allowed the Iraqi people to deal with their own mess. The rest of this .... you have more to fear from the Religious Right, and Bush Co then the Democrats. But I imagine you are too indoctrinated in your narrow view of the to even consider the baseless, outrageous foolishness you are spouting.
The Democratic Party members are the people who brought you a minimum wage and the promise of prevailing local wages, 8-hour workday in a safe environment, unemployment benefits, and workers compensation when things go wrong.
The Democratic programs of the Federal Home Loan Program, Water Quality Act, and Rural Electrification Act brought ownership of a home with utilities within reach of most of us.
Democrats awarded veterans G. I. student benefits, home loans, and health care they so richly deserve.
Democrats created plans, such as Head Start, Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Guaranteed Student Loan Program have helped us raise and educate our children.
Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Securities and Exchange Act help us enjoy a secure old age.
Democrats brought many of us our very right to vote in the Women's Suffrage Amendment and Voting Rights Act of 1965.
In your view, this was all BAD for America?

i think most liberals would like to see the situation in iraq settle down so that the nonstop bloodshed of our own family members as well as noncombatant iraqi civilians might begin to come to an end. a better question is why the conservative republicans won't push for a 'DRAFT' of all young americans which will make the additional million troops available that are needed to provide for the basic security needs that will get this fledgling iraqi democracy off the ground so we can win this thing. while you neocons are losing your iraqi experiment, you don't have the luxury of time to wonder why liberal democrats point out the obvious flaws in your policies and your ability to plan strategically. you need to be busy trying to see your silly plan through.

Try drinking scotch--it wont ruin your thinking like that toilet bowl stuff you've been drinking. Not all democrats are liberals and if anything they would like to see American life not being wasted in a country that has more sand than brains. I say bring them all home now and fortify all of our borders---never can tell when those Oklahoma Republicans might want to sneak across the Red River into Texas or the Canadians will try to swim across Lake Michigan. I cant wait to see what you think is really GOOD for America--since you obviously speake for all Republicans---boy, I bet they are really proude to have someone like you to be their spokeman.Keep it come'n.

No. This war has been bad for America (not to mention devastating to Iraq). Those who oppose it feel it can't be won.
Those of us who opposed it from the beginning knew it would be bad for everyone.
We were right. War supporters were wrong.
The notion that liberals, democrats, or progressives want what's bad for America is slander and a lie.

they don't -- no longer outright, it really is. the fashionable flesh presser speaks by a spread of 0.5-truths, ambivalences, and fluff in which you'll be able to (even if it is unlikely) discover substance ought to one make an attempt to penetrate all of it. most of the undesirable one hears about Iraq is one, the different, or all 3 of those -- even if in a contest, 0.5-truths ought to win palms all the way down to that end. And in case you somewhat pay interest, they don't choose to lose the conflict -- yet they don't somewhat choose to win, both. See, to a political candidate, a conflict is little better than a reason for political progression; the morals, motives, and outcomes are merely such countless cumbersome information to artwork by. If President Bush were to announce a right away withdrawal to be carried out with suggestions from this time next week, human beings ought to be up in palms -- with regards to the liberal politicians, for each and each and every of the incorrect motives. Bush-bashing has develop into an striking device for garnering political help between the louder, better intense left-wing; the Iraq conflict is, as validated so aptly with suggestions from our nationwide media, their accepted source of ammunition. eliminate that from the equation, and we without be conscious discover ourselves coping with such petty squabbles because the commutation of a sentence or the firing of countless criminal experts -- on none of which that is uncomplicated to base a political platform. Assuming a Democrat of the at modern-operating ilk is elected to the Presidency, you could relax certain that the Iraq conflict gained't end for a sturdy lengthy time period because it is going to nonetheless be politically expedient accountable each and every thing on George Bush for countless years after he's lengthy previous. no longer merely will this develop the recent President's political status (yet merely between the acute communities to whom he or she is presently pandering), even if it is going to also absolve her or him of any responsibility for any failures which ensue in the course of the recent Presidential time period. it is all in a impressive, notably little container, isn't it?

The only people who want us to lose the faux war on terror are the same worthless rethugs who have 130,000 US troops bogged down in Iraq.

I don't believe that there is anyone who WANTS their country to lose a war. Just people who feel that it is not possible to really win, and want to be "good losers" rather than wait it out and keep their fingers crossed.
