Porsche is the automobile of legend. But it can send the wrong message. Most people, when they see a Porsche, first they feel intense envy, then extreme hatred of whoever is having that big of a midlife crisis or whatever kid has a big enough trust fund to be showing off that much pure excess. What about all the starving kids in Sudan? How can you enjoy something so luxurious and powerful when some baby, with a tube coming out of his nose, is lying on filthy plastic, breathing his last ragged breath?
Screw 'em. Get the Porsche. But do us a favor and don't complain about it, how it's in the shop all the time or whatever. Makes us want to kill you, beat you with your soft Italian driving shoes.
Really, though, I can't really answer unless you say which Benz you would get if you didn't get the Porsche. I hate the C-class and E-class. The M-class is junk. Then again, I wouldn't want a Cayenne, either. Yeah, I mean if it was a decision between an SLK and a Boxster, I'd say SLK.

I too would buy a muscle car, but i'm not the one getting that kind of gift. So I would go with the Benz because Porshe is a chick car dude.

A porshe because it takes 7 cows to make the interior of a mercedes, and that's sick! Plus, Porshes are way cooler.

If you have that kind of money invest in real estate. In 10 years the cars will be worth zip, but the real estate will be worth more than you paid for it.
