Okay well i keep seeing those questions about "How do I become emo?" and it seems to me that i'm the only one who thinks its a really stupid question.
I mean, you cant really just become emo over night.
I saw answers like "listen to crappy music, feel bad for yourself, cut your wrists, be weird..."
I just think its really ridiculous, and I wanted to know if anyone else agrees with me.

Yeah. Emo is just a word used to describe this group of people who have a lot in common, mostly being depressed. You cant become emo, you might change, but you cant change into emo.

I think its just a horrible stereo type and your right you just don't become emo, people refer you to being a certain way because of there own opinion's on what emo is.

i agree they are probably trying to become emo to be different or to stand out or be anti conformist but really they are just being the same as everyone else (basically) blending in and conforming..... be yourself thats a "different" concept in our society. we are all naturally different than each other so we shouldnt have to try to be something we arent to be "different."
